Our company is a Japanese sake brewery located in a small port-town called Mashike in Hokkaido. We are known as the northernmost sake brewery in Japan.Founded in 1882, we have been making sake since rice was not available in Hokkaido. Currently, Hokkaido has become one of the leading rice-producing areas in Japan, known for high-quality rice. We combine traditional sake brewing methods with the new variety of Hokkaido rice.About 90% of our products are consumed in Hokkaido, and our sake is recognized as the local sake of Hokkaido.The feature of our products is that it is dry and easy to match the meal. In order to improve the quality of sake, we squeeze the fermented mash in a squeezer and do not squeeze out until the end at the stage of extracting the sake, but only the good parts are used. We strive to provide sake with good quality, including ordinary sake, not limited to high-quality sake such as ginjo and daiginjo.
